The contract work agreement was signed with the successful candidate for the group of measures No. 1 – Drinking water was undersigned in April 2004 with partnership ISPA Hradiště – Partnership SMP CONSTRUCTION, SOGEA – SATOM.
The object of reconstruction is the water preparing plant in Hradiště and renovation of drinking water pipeline Želenice – Bílina.
Reconstruction of water preparing plant in Hradiště
Water preparing plant Hradiště is the main source of Nort-Bohemian water supply system. Since the setting in operation (in 1976) there have been the gradual deterioration in raw water quality in the water-supply reservoir Přísečnice and this was the reason why the owner of this water works (that is Severočeská vodárenská company Inc.) included the reconstruction of the water preparing plant in the project.
These parts of water preparing plant Hradiště were put on a programme of the reconstruction:
- fast blending in the part of chemical dosing and homogenization
- sand filtration and the related operation – water accumulation of finished water and in limited way wash-water tank
- chemical dosing of potash
- chemical dosage adjustment
- sludge treatment in the part of supply sewage water to the sludge storing lagoon
- distribution plant
- the control system of technological process including the inspection rooms of the water preparing plant
Renovation of drinking water pipeline Želenice – Bílina
The main item of the programme is the recosntruction of the existing supply line in a section between Liběšice (near Želenice) and shaft in front of the power station. The total length is 6,5km. Because of aggressive environment the existing steel pipelines are exhanged for glass-fiber reinforced ones.
Reconstruction of the supply line starts at the delivery point near Liběšice (Želenice). The supply line goes through greenery along the main road Bílina-Most and in Liběšice it continues in the local parkway. Behind the community of Liběšice the supply line goes under the road and then along the river Bílina, mostly hidden in the bushed greenery. In the suburbs of city Bílina the conductor routing is across a car-camping and swimming pool. Behind a swimming pool it goes across the playground, garden-plots and greenery up to the the place where the river enters the trained stream channel of the river Bílina. Then the supply line passes through the greenery in front of the bus terminal, through the road to the railway station ČD and it ends in the shaft AŠ2. The section between the railway station ČD ad shaft AŠ3 together with a branch to the water-supply tank Chlum was reconstructed in 1999. From the shaft AŠ3 renovation of supply line goes on up to the power station Ledvice.

The machine coarse racks and fine racks as well as sand filter will be integrated. The sedimentation tanks will be renovated and newly used for activation. The existing classical activation will be subjected to revision to the zone systém R-S-D-N enabling the biological elimination of N and partially also of P and suppressing the development of fibrious structure of micro-organisms living in activated sludge. For ventilation fine-bubble aerators will be used. The chain scrapers will be put into the settlement tanks. Drum mains filter for stabilisation of discharge from reservoir will be stepped in the place of discharge from waste treatment plant. Sludge management will be complemented with mechanical sludge thickening and the existing gravity sludge thickening tanks will be used for homogenization before dewatering and the current belt press will be replaced by separator. Due to this renovation of WWTP there will be about 10% margin for increase of possible inflow and pollution. Rekonstrukce čistírny odpadních vod Klášterec nad Ohří
