Since 2004 Severočeská Vodárenská společnost has supported the International Film Festival Water-Sea-Oceans (member of EUIFA). The film festival regularly takes place in Ústí nad Labem in conjunction with Town Council of Ústí nad Labem, University of J.E.Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem, Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic, North-Bohemian Scientific Library, Speech Studio and mayn other partners. The cine-meeting introduces the water to the onlookers in all forms: as a main living condition, as a destructive element, as a living space for various kinds of animals and also as a creator of the scenery on its journey from the top of the mountains down into the oceans. The Festival introduces to the public a number of films that show the need of protecting water and life in it. These activities are close to the mission of Severočeská Vodárenská company.
Severočeská Vodárenská Společnost supports bachelor study of engineering ecology – water system at Schola Humanitas in Litvínov.
We perceive the importance of having as many well-educated experts specialized in the field of environment protection and renewal as possible. Study at Schola Humanitas is realized within the frame of curricula of Faculty of Environment at University of J.E.Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem.

SVS cooperates with non-profit humanitarian organization The Centre of Daily Service Sunflower that helps to the mentally affected and physically handiccaped people.
Severočeská Vodárenská Společnost supports the operation of the Centre of daily service Sunflower in Děčín. Sunflower struggles for involvement of people who are metally affected, physically handicapped or who have both affection into the common life. Its activity is centred on the institutional clients as well as on the clients who are in home care. The Centre closely cooperated especially with the institutions in Horní Žleb and Stará Oleška. The Centre yearly organizes various spare-time activites destined for clients as well as for general public.
